The Mechanical Inspection Section oversees installations of a variety of mechanical work to
ensure public safety. The programs of inspections is administered in all sector such as boiler and
pressure vessels, elevators, amusement rides, ski lifts and tramways, are inspected according to a time
schedule established in the national code, which varies from annually to every five years in both new
construction and existing installations.
